Discover Your Path to Vitality

Ready to feel calm, focused, and energized?

Discover how Neurofeedback and Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching can help you feel your best - inside and out

Feeling stuck seems like the norm.

You are tired. Exhausted by never-ending decisions. Brain fog, worry and overwhelm are regularly holding you down.

Focus is slippery.

Your attention is yanked from one squeaky wheel to the next; you’re distracted and unable to be fully present for the people and activities that matter most.

Clarity and joy are missing.

Imagining happiness and light seems laughable. Others seem to have it figured out. Without a whole new perspective, you’ll just endure life instead of thriving.

Discouraged, but you’re still hopeful.

This struggle is unsustainable.  You desperately want to feel better. You’ve tried meditation, therapy, prescriptions, diets.  Nothing has been a silver bullet; you’re still anxious, distracted, and tired. But maybe there’s another way…

Your brain has been doing its best (and working overtime!)

It’s time to work smarter, not harder…

Relief is possible.

Vitality is possible!

I use 3 cutting edge tools to help you succeed:

  • Functional neurofeedback

  • Holistic nutritional health coaching

  • Heart rate variability training.

Your body begins to feel healthier and more vibrant while you gain mental clarity, energy, and a sense of calm you haven’t had in a long time.

Your performance in personal and professional life is enhanced.

Together we will ignite your vitality.

Awakening joyful energy for life that radiates outward - uplifting  you, your family, and the world around you.

Neurofeedback

Neurofeedback is a simple, non-invasive way of training your brain to work more efficiently, without medication.  Brains can learn when given audio/visual feedback in response to the EEG (electrical activity in the brain).  Like a game of “hot or cold”, neurofeedback guides your brain and your nervous system to have an appropriate level of activity for a given task and better flexibility for switching between tasks.  An analogy is smooth shifting when driving a car; we don’t want your foot stuck on the gas, or the brake, or both at once!

What symptoms does it help with?

Anxiety, lack of focus/attention, poor sleep, depression, sensory sensitivity, trauma, and many other things (including PMS and digestive distress) are relieved with neurofeedback.  It is also used for peak performance enhancement by athletes and musicians.

Easy Brain Training

Neurofeedback encourages and is best supported by a healthy lifestyle.  Many of us know what we “ought to be doing” to be healthier but have trouble implementing those changes while we are struggling with poor sleep, anxiety, or lack of focus.  Luckily, neurofeedback helps you get out of your own way; it feels easier to make positive adjustments. And your brain learns while you watch Netflix in a cozy recliner!

Are you a good candidate for neurofeedback?

I work with adults and kids as young as 6 years old.  Good candidates are motivated and committed to consistent sessions and are taking few or no prescription medications.  We can discuss the details in your free consultation call!

Integrative Nutrition

Nutrition is so much more than what you put on your plate.  Nourishing yourself holistically also includes your social connections, your physical activity, your spirituality, your financial security, your closest relationships, your purpose, your creativity, and your rest.  You are an individual and have unique needs and goals, but you are probably like everyone else in that there’s room for improvement.  As an integrative nutrition health coach I am here to help you discover what you’d like to improve - in any of these areas of life- and how to get there.  Along the way I’ll listen deeply, provide support, offer some structure, and will help celebrate your successes!

Diet and gut health

What you eat fuels your brain and body.  So it’s important to give some loving attention to food choices.  I will be curious about what and how you eat and offer some guidance towards more whole foods and less inflammatory foods.  I’ll also encourage better gut biome support.  I do not champion any specific or restrictive diets, but can support you if you choose to go that route.  I will meet you where you are and will encourage joyful eating that helps you feel great.

Coaching plus neurofeedback

I help my clients achieve vitality with a combination of integrative nutrition health coaching and neurofeedback.  My role is to leverage your potential with guidance and attention to your unique needs and goals, with a boost from cutting-edge technology.

Who I am

I’ve been a neurofeedback practitioner for over 6 years. My training was through the Institute for Applied Neuroscience, EEG Education & Research, and NewMind Academy.  I am currently enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and will soon be a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.

Formerly, I was an environmental advocate, biology researcher, science teacher, and a stay-at-home-mom for several years.  I graduated from Earlham College (B.A.) and University of Michigan (M.S.).  My strong science background led me to observe and study why we struggle to make good choices. It begins with the brain. If we are stressed, anxious, unable to focus, short on sleep, etc., we can’t make better choices, no matter how good the information is.  This led me to neurofeedback.

I love helping my clients lead more vital and fulfilling lives because they feel better, are functioning better, and are choosing wisely.

Right now, I’m living my own most fulfilling life which I measure in quality time with my two teenage daughters, cooking good food for my family and friends, having outdoor adventures, being physically and mentally healthy, loving where I live, and feeling grateful for my vitality every day.

  • “Megan is one of the best people I've ever met. She's sweet, kind, and genuinely cares about her clients. I've been going to her for years now and never had a problem. Keep in mind, neurofeedback therapy is not a one and done treatment. Stick with it and it will work for you, just like it worked for me!” - MP

I highly recommend Vitality Coaching for anyone looking for these services.”
